I require a qualitative dissertation methodology chapter based on the following info;
Q1: What is the acceptability and utility rate of the sexual misconduct program?
Q2: What impact high non-utility rate can have on improving safety culture of the organization.
Acceptability will be assessed based on two components, members attitude toward the program and its perceived effectiveness. To determine acceptability the researcher will examine the annual member climate surveys, the biannual sexual misconduct in the organization surveys. This data includes members viewpoints on the program and leaderships effectiveness. Utility will be assessed by looking at the effectiveness of the program. To evaluate this the researcher will look at incidence rates, member willingness to report or intervene, program utilization, and member program knowledge. This data is also captured in the surveys. The incidence numbers will come from annual Sexual Misconduct Tracking report generated from the incident database.
Question two will be answered by examining data in the biannual sexual misconduct in the organization surveys to identify aspects of poor safety culture that persist despite program implementation. Specifically unsafe working environment both physical and psycho-social, ineffective reporting system, and fear of reprisal. As permissions for interviews could not be granted the researcher will conduct a content analysis of media reporting on the program. This includes interviews with victims and leadership that discuss the failings of the program and its impact on safety culture.
I am open to suggestions on research design based on the available data i have;
annual member climate surveys, the biannual sexual misconduct in the organization surveys
media reporting on sexual misconduct within the organization from the perspective of employee and leadership
