This morning you received a frantic call from your team members Allen and Jill. They received some upsetting news from your partnering vendor who manages and supplies some of your communication technology. The sales manager that you have been working with informed your teammates that his supplier went on strike, which will impact the vendor’s ability to provide their services effectively. The strike will make it difficult for your vendor to deliver all of your technology needs. The sales manager felt confident that the issues will be resolved in the next two weeks, which might not impact your project too much as long as they can continue to provide other services like troubleshooting, training, and manage your internet security. You realize the strike will be made public in the news this afternoon and need to get ahead of this information. If you don’t get control over this information many of your senior stakeholders, including the Program Manager may go into panic mode.
In a few paragraphs draft a communication letter to everyone on your team. The letter should highlight the following elements:

Discuss the problem in detail.
